So I am getting rather worried about whether everything is done and that everyone knows what and where they need to be..
I've just finished the favours and they are uber cool :)
The flowers are gonna either be mums creation or the original ones I posted a pic of - still havent had them yet so I'm not holding my breath!
Called the registrar and alls good to go there
Visited the reception venue and the actual venue - they are all good to go with the decorations/drinks I dropped off and the CD works.
Dress, cake and backup flowers arrive friday as I'm setting up the venue with decorations.
Gift flowers being delivered friday,
all other gifts sorted
cars should be arriving on time
Suits are being sorted friday (last min alterations
Photographer is arriving at 1pm
anything else?

So, I'm officially a solo artist as opposed to troupe member. Although I am still dancing with the ATS troupe prana I no longer have a connection to Circle of Serpents. That episode is in the past and will stay there, as they say - all things happen for a reason.
Anyway I am pleased with my solo efforts and feel that I am progressing as an artist. Here is my first solo since the change...let me know what you think guys!

7 weeks away!

Classes start next week (although for me they never really finished for the summer ;)). For new learners to Thorns Community College there is a free taster session to my Gothic Fusion Bellydance (begs) class this Wednesday 7:45pm-9:15pm. I will be going through the ideals of the bellydance format I am recognised for and will take learners through a short choreography, some moves that you can incorporate into your own practice as well as the usual basics of bellydance...
It is free for one day only - a sort of 'try before you buy' the whole course ;)
Places are limited so get there early!!

here are a couple of vids of me in a different style of bellydance to my usual;)

The first is completely improvised and involves us (circle of serpents) and the shankari girls who rock!!



This second one is me in my ATS troupe PRANA. Prana are Khalghani's sister troupe (khalghani bein britain's first ATS troupe lead by Dawn O'Brien)and I love these girls muchly ;)

This was before making myself very drunk at the foundry on friday - what a cracking night ;)

I just got voted as Slimming World woman of the year at my group :D

Dress is sorted - Its a uk size 10/12 with a seperate teeny corset - this was my main goal as previously I would have needed a uk 24 :)
Favours are sorted - they are so cute - I will post pics when I have ade them up but basically theu are mini pumpkin pots filled with candy corn, the pots are then wrapped in spider web fabric and then fastened with a purple ribbon - cheap and cheerful!!
Cake is bein made be my mum who is amazing ;)
Flowers are made and are awesome - pics below :D!!
Ordered Autumn silk leaves for the reception tables and already got some of the centre pieces and halloween confetti - set up pics to come shortly...
Bridesmaids are happy in steel boned corsets and purple skirts with cauldrom bags for their make up.
The groom has bat cufflinks :D :D
I have shoes, accessories, a hat etc etc

My friend has made my flowers - she is awesome and has done the most beautiful job. She is going to add mini pumpkin silver charms into the foliage on all so they are gonna look fab!
